1. Who we are
World Leaders Daily ("we", "us") operates this website. You can reach us at hello@worldleaders.website.
2. What we collect
This is a static, informational website. We do not require accounts and we do not ask for personal data to browse. The following features use data:
- Analytics — if enabled and you consent, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects aggregate, pseudonymised usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type).
- Advertising — if advertising is enabled and you consent, our advertising partners (e.g. Google AdSense) may set cookies to serve and measure ads.
- Contact requests — the form stores your name, email address and message, with a receipt identifier, acceptance time and pending status.
- Newsletter requests — the form stores your email address, explicit consent and its timestamp, with a receipt identifier, acceptance time and pending status.
- Watchlist email requests — submitting the optional email form stores your email address, explicit consent and its timestamp, requested daily or weekly frequency, and validated office, country, topic, record-kind, status, date-basis, date-range and search-text filters. The record also contains a receipt identifier, acceptance time and pending-confirmation status.
- Browser-local storage — saved watchlists, editorial drafts and your cookie choice use localStorage in this browser. Saving a local watchlist or draft does not send it to the form inbox. Exported files are saved on your device; submitting a separate email request sends that request's filters and email address to the inbox.
Accepted form requests are stored in a private Cloudflare KV inbox. They are not included in public source datasets, downloads or feeds. Contact requests remain pending manual review. Newsletter and watchlist requests receive a confirmation email through Resend; subscriptions activate only after an explicit confirmation. The Mac mini processes the private mail queue on native cron. Resend receives the recipient email address and message content, including confirmation and unsubscribe links and any source-linked digest. Private state includes confirmation tokens, expiry, subscription status, frequency, last digest identifiers, provider acceptance receipts and delivery status. Bounce, failure and spam-complaint status suppress further updates. API acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing suppresses all future updates and pending requests for that address. Hashed suppression records remain until the operator removes them. Public RSS feeds work independently of email requests.
3. Consent choices
Newsletter and watchlist email forms require explicit consent before storing the request. Optional analytics and advertising are enabled only after you accept the cookie choice. You can change that browser choice via the Cookies & GDPR page. Changing the cookie choice does not remove a form request already stored in the private inbox.
4. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any right, email hello@worldleaders.website.
5. Data retention & sharing
The form handler does not set an automatic expiry (TTL) for contact, newsletter or watchlist email records in the private inbox. Handling and removal are manual. Local watchlists and drafts remain in browser storage until you clear them or the browser removes that storage. Clearing a local watchlist does not remove an email request already submitted; use the contact email above to request removal of a stored form request. We do not sell your personal data. Third-party processors (analytics and advertising providers) process data under their own policies.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
